The results of the survey are the following:（ 1） 22 prefectures require personal information of applicants, and 16 prefectures conceal some information contained in financial statements when allowing them to inspect financial statements; （2） 7 prefectures do not allow access to reports on the status of transactions with related parties, and 5 of these prefectures require personal information of applicants. Making personally identifiable information subject to disclosure would give the medical corporation an incentive to conceal information.
